The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has unveiled Eric Chelle as the new head coach of the Super Eagles.
The federation presented the newly appointed manager to the public on Monday at the media centre of the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
The 47-year-old Malian coach was appointed on January 7. He takes over as substantive head coach of the nation’s men’s football team from Austin Eguavoen, who has been leading in an acting capacity since the exit of Finidi George.
At the unveiling ceremony, Chelle’s technical crew members were also announced.
Hadi Taboubi will be the team’s first assistant coach, Thomas Gornourec will get the fitness trainer role, and Jean-Daniel Padovani will complete the backroom staff as the goalkeeper trainer.
