Manchester City 3, Plymouth Argyle 1 (FA Cup)
Manchester City advanced to the FA Cup quarter-finals with a 3-1 victory over Championship side Plymouth Argyle at the Etihad Stadium. Plymouth stunned the hosts by taking the lead in the 38th minute when Maksym Talovierov headed in from a corner. City responded swiftly, with 19-year-old Nico O’Reilly equalizing just before halftime. O’Reilly added a second in the 75th minute, and Kevin De Bruyne sealed the win with a goal in the 90th minute.
Real Betis 2, Real Madrid 1 (La Liga)
Real Betis secured a 2-1 home victory over Real Madrid, dealing a blow to Los Blancos’ title aspirations. Brahim Díaz gave Madrid an early lead, but Betis equalized before halftime through Johnny Cardoso’s header. In the second half, former Madrid midfielder Isco converted a penalty to give Betis the lead, which they maintained despite Madrid’s late efforts.
Napoli 1, Inter Milan 1 (Serie A)
In a top-of-the-table clash, Napoli and Inter Milan played out a 1-1 draw at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. Inter took the lead in the 22nd minute with a superb Federico Dimarco free kick. Napoli pressed for an equalizer and were rewarded in the 87th minute when substitute Philip Billing scored on the rebound after his initial effort was saved. The result keeps Inter at the summit with 58 points, closely followed by Napoli with 57.
