Fayemi Dismisses ADC Co-Founding Claims, Stands Firm with APC

Former Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi has publicly rejected claims that he co-founded an ADC coalition with former Transport Minister Rotimi Amaechi. Such assertions, published on social media and repeated in some coverage, were deemed by Fayemi’s media team as “baseless fabrications,” with no supporting evidence—whether video recordings or credible reports—to substantiate them.

A statement signed by Ahmed Sajoh, head of the Fayemi Media Organisation, reaffirmed that despite being politically active and maintaining dialogues across party divides, Fayemi remains a committed member of the APC. The release emphasized his recent endorsement of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s re-election and his ongoing involvement in APC caucus meetings in Ekiti State.

Notably, no verifiable source—such as reputable news outlets or recorded comments—has validated Amaechi’s alleged claim that he and Fayemi co-established the ADC coalition.
