Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha has rejected reports suggesting he is part of an opposition alliance or has chosen the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as his political platform.
In a statement released on Sunday, Mustapha described the claims as “fake news,” stressing that he has not entered into any talks with opposition figures or coalition partners.
“My attention has been drawn to a news story in circulation associating me with the opposition alliance and their choice of the ADC as their political party,” he said.
The former SGF reiterated his commitment to clarifying any false political affiliations and stated that he remains uninvolved in any opposition coalition activity.
Mustapha’s response follows a recent wave of political positioning ahead of the 2027 general elections, where alliances and defections have become a focal point of speculation.
