The Nigerian in Diaspora Organisation Africa (NIDO Africa) is pleased to announce its preparations for a major sales and exhibition event dedicated to showcasing high-quality Made-in-Nigeria products in Senegal. The five-day event is scheduled to take place from November 24 to 28, 2025.
According to Ambassador Folaji Adura, the Public Relations Officer for NIDO Africa, this initiative represents a significant step towards boosting intra-African trade, empowering Nigerian entrepreneurs, and strengthening economic ties between Nigeria and Senegal.
“This exhibition represents a pivotal step in NIDO Africa’s commitment to promoting economic development and fostering stronger trade relations between Nigeria and our fellow African nations, particularly Senegal,” stated Ambassador Folaji Adura. “We believe in the superior quality and diverse range of products Nigeria has to offer, from agricultural produce and processed foods to innovative technology, fashion, and crafts. This is an unparalleled opportunity for Nigerian businesses to expand their reach and for Senegalese consumers and businesses to discover the best of Nigeria.”
The exhibition aims to:
Provide a robust platform for Nigerian manufacturers, entrepreneurs, and service providers to penetrate the Senegalese market and access the broader West African region.
Promote the rich diversity and quality of Nigerian goods and services.
Facilitate networking opportunities between Nigerian businesses and potential Senegalese buyers, distributors, and investors.
Contribute to the goals of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) by fostering seamless trade and economic integration within the continent.
Highlight the crucial role of the Nigerian diaspora in driving economic diplomacy and facilitating tangible cross-border partnerships.
The event is expected to attract a wide array of Made-in-Nigeria products, including but not limited to:
Agricultural products and processed foods
Textiles, fashion, and leather goods
Arts, crafts, and cultural artifacts
Beauty and cosmetic products
Technology and innovative solutions
Consumer goods and household items
NIDO Africa will be working closely with relevant Nigerian and Senegalese government agencies, trade organizations, and diaspora networks to ensure the success and widespread impact of the exhibition. Further details regarding participation, registration for exhibitors, and specific venue information will be communicated in due course.
