Mobolaji Esther Oni, a dynamic leader and member of the Nigerian diaspora in Brazil, has been named a nominee for the prestigious Ambassador’s Cup 2025. Her nomination is in recognition of her groundbreaking initiative, AgriTech Bridge, a project specifically designed to empower Nigerian smallholder farmers. This technology-driven solution aims to provide rural farmers with mobile access to essential resources, including markets, vital agricultural inputs, and expert advisory services, thus bridging critical digital and resource gaps.
Mobolaji, who is currently pursuing her Master’s in Administration at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) in Brazil, brings a decade of multifaceted professional experience to her AgriTech work. Her professional background is notably diverse, encompassing roles as a Human Resources Manager, Data Analyst, Educator, Journalist, and Farm Manager. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the People (UoPeople), California, further cementing her commitment to professional excellence and educational pursuit.
Her work is characterised by a strong interdisciplinary approach, effectively blending the fields of AgriTech, marketing strategy, consumer behaviour, and cooperative innovation. This strategic combination is aimed at creating inclusive and sustainable tech-driven solutions for rural transformation in Nigeria, ensuring that smallholder farmers can thrive in today’s rapidly evolving economy.
Beyond her technical project work, Mobolaji Esther Oni is also deeply committed to social engagement and mentorship. She is actively involved in supporting African migrants, mentoring youths, and promoting global educational access, showcasing her role as a dedicated “Diaspora Changemaker”. Her multilingual ability further enhances her capacity to connect with diverse communities and drive meaningful change from her base with NIDO Brazil.
