The native of Zaire Province of Angola was intercepted at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, while trying to board an Egypt Air flight MS 880 to Istanbul via Cairo.
In a statement on Sunday, NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, said a body scan confirmed that Abuba had ingested illicit drugs, a development that led to his placement under observation.
